Regulatory notices

Regulatory update hub for multi-regulator source watch.

Official regulator sources, practical impact notes, review dates, and evidence actions are kept together so FSPs can distinguish a new development from an obligation already in force.

FSCA video source material has been moved to a separate library while thumbnail previews are being corrected. Compliance-impact items are still tracked against client actions and evidence updates.

Regulator watch desk

More room for source-led updates across the regulators that affect FSPs.

Each update records the regulator, source, status, practical implication, and next review. Primary sources are checked before secondary commentary is promoted.

Last source review: 28 July 2026. Next scheduled review: 3 August 2026.

17 Apr 2026 COFI status

Notice of introduction published for the COFI Bill

Government Gazette 54520 published the explanatory summary and notice of introduction in the National Assembly. This is a legislative milestone; it does not by itself make the Bill an Act in force.

Jul 2026 FSCA plan

FSCA publishes its 2026–2029 regulation plan

The rolling plan places COFI preparation inside a wider programme of conduct, licensing and cross-sector regulatory work. FSP watchlists should track subordinate frameworks and consultations as they appear.

17 Jan 2026 Fit & Proper

Updated regulatory-examination preparation guides are available

The FSCA Fit and Proper page lists 2026 preparation guides for RE1, RE3, RE4 and RE5. Training files and candidate study plans should point to the current official material.

Update filing model

A larger source shelf for future updates.

New regulator material can be dropped into the right lane with a short service implication and evidence action. That keeps the page current without turning it into a hosted news platform.

How updates are filed

Lane What gets captured Client action
